Perfect conditions. missed two fish and lost one. lots of insects around and the Swallows were having a field day out on the water. Fished along the weed beds with a constant slow retrieve. Fights lasted about 10 minutes.

Great late afternoon session into the night. Fish rising all over but just out of casting reach. A real pity that Bass have got into the trout dams.

Fished another late afternoon session at Kamberg. Again as the sun was off the water fish rising to the insects, they refused to take a dry fly.

A great fish, pity there was a cycle race on the same day as there were lots of families swimming in the upper pools!!

The wind had switched from the previous day. I fished the same stretch from the chalets to the camp site. It was very slow in the morning but I dominated in the afternoon. Missed a lot of fish but nailed the one that counted, a brown of around 40cm. Awesome fight.

Wind was howling from the north west. Fished from the bank rather than in the water so that I could cast across it. The fish were very willing compared to most trips I've done here. Fished the stretch from the chalets to the camp site.

A tough day's fishing as part of a club day. 20 fishermen fished 6 waters and only 2 fish were caught. The south easter is a bad wind. North wester for the win!
